Hello,
I have a 98 VW Beetle and the initial problem started when the car was throwing the code P1582 and I looked it up and it suggesed that the throttle body is cleaned as well as the spark plugs be changed. After that was completed the check engine light went away only to return with the code P041, so I took the car to the VW dealer and they stated to me that my throttle body needs to be changed as well as R&R the ECM & Readiness Set. My question is whether or not this is something that can be worked on at home or is it a difficult part to change? |
