Default Odd headlight problem, pics inside

So, I was doing the usual spring cleanup and noticed that my passenger side headlight looked like it has some moisture on the projector when the lights were on.

So I pulled the light to check it out and then I've found the culprit, looks like maybe the previous owner pried on it with a screwdriver. There's also a retaining tab between the housing and the cover that is broken off.

So, the simple thing to do would be to replace it, except I noticed something else really strange. The low beam projector has a line across it. My driver side headlight does not have this line.

It also says "D2S or H1" among the writing around the outside cover. My driver side light does not.

The passenger light is made by "Automotive Lighting" the driver side is Bosch.

Which of these, if either is OEM?

Should I be looking for headlights with the line in the projector for both sides or is this a normal difference between the two? I've always felt like the passenger light was the better of the two on both low and high beam, could it be because it's a newer design?

Both of my lights have the line in the projectors. They are OEM and made by Bosch.

D2S bulbs are usually HIDs. (If not always)

Also the passenger light is usually pointed a little higher on the low beam so that could make it appear brighter.

Automotive Lighting is an OEM brand, as is Bosch. The Euro-spec lights I once had were Bosch while the NAR-spec were from AL.

The projectors do have that line, no worries. And the lenses on my former NBC looked a lot like that, seems the sealant would form a crack along the bottom and would eventually fill with condensation. They both were replaced several times.

Oops.

I pulled the other light that I thought was Bosch and does NOT have a line in it, and it was TYC brand, so I'm guessing that my driver's side light is aftermarket, and the passenger is OEM.

Guess I know what to ask for for Christmas now.

the ds light on my NBC has a crack that is identical to that. IDENTICAL...

I've never given any care to it...

Nearly every NB I've seen has that same crack in the headlight, including mine. You can see it in the same spot as yours. You can also see water spots that I can't seem to get rid of.

Me, traveling at speed on a motorway

Left a nice mark all the way down my front wing.

I always put it down too taking the headlight out so many times. As sometimes i was pulling just behind the lense to get more grip. They don't like coming out half the time. I had to buy a complete headlight replacement as over here you can't get the lenses seperately. I still have one lense with the bottom clips broken on

It's not just sealer that holds the lenses in place, there are 4 clips too. These break off easily.
