Default No Interior lights Comfort control module or Driverside door lock module?

Here is a list of whats not working, trunk release button no power, side mirrors no power, Interior lights no power, sunroof no power, cluster shows only the rear spoiler light but spoiler operates normally. door locks do not work, alarm does not work. Key fob has no effect. No CEL, no fuses blown, no codes I have a ross-tech dongle. Is it the convenience control module or the drivers side door lock module that has all these things powering through? Or is there another module that powers these items? Doors can be locked manually after pressing the door lock button once then pushing the pins down by hand. I bought a convenience control module from a wrecker, it was the exact part number etc.. the changeout didn't change anything. Maybe I bought a bad one if that part is to blame in the first place of course.

Possibly your ignition switch or the pigtail on the switch itself.

I had about half of those problems recently, locks, alarm, headlights didn't work, no turn signals, no hvac.. and it turned out my switch was bad and it fried the pigtail too >_<

I missed that, I'll take a look today. I noticed a while ago it was heating up and melting but never checked it out this time around. I would definantly put that on the probable culprit list.

Question Switch issues

What was the fix for all the problems you were having? My car is experiencing no power to the power windows, mirror switches, hatch lock, sunroof and the headlight switch is opening my trunk.

Turns out to be a shorting out rear hatch release motor. Causes a fuse to blow in the panel that disables all the mentioned parts of the car. Once the trunk release motor was replaced no more fuse blowing and disabling everything. With all those free spots in the fuse panel you would think VW might use them to keep things working in the vehicle in the case of a simple trunk release motor failure.
