default running mode ??
hi all, just joined and have a question for you...
is there a default running mode on the bug if there's a problem with the electrics related to the engine ? had mine remapped a while back but it didn't seem to take, VAG com didn't report any problems and it stumped the guy who remapped it. I've just had it in for a service and to have an engine stutter, which has been getting gradually worse, investigated. the stutter turned out to be a broken, physically broken, coil. this was replaced and the car now feels completely different, so much so I think the coil was broken when I bought the car. which makes me wonder whether the engine had gone into a default mode and that was the reason the remap didn't work ?  thanks all
