Angry Spark plugs and Leads $COST$

Just trying to get a realistic cost on how much it should be to replace these in a 2000 model 2.0
The dealer is saying $200 (Australian) just for the leads then add cost of spark plugs and at least 2 hours to do the job. Is this on the money or are they just taking my money?!

Wow

Spark plugs here in the U.S. cost about $7.00 each for Autolite's, with the NGK's about $14.00 each, and wires should run about $25.00 for a decent set at a local Auto parts store, but then I'm not paying a dealer to install them either.

Around my area the usual dealer shop rate is about $85.00 per hour.

Are you not mechanically inclined to do your own work?

IMO, I think they are taking your money. I get my plugs and leads from German Auto Parts dot com; the plugs are going for $6.15 US ($6.92 AUS) and a lead set is $52.91 US ($59.60 AUS). It takes less than 30 minutes to do the work.

Okay thanks for the advice. Are Bosch plugs the best ones to use? Have read that on another forum.
