Insert screwdriver into latch hole and try to lift latch. After you get the latch to release you can see how the mechanism works. I found that my problem was that a plastic clip that connects the latch rod broke. I found a clip at the local auto parts store that, while not exactly the OEM part, works for my purposes. You'll have to peel back the seat cover from a top corner to access the inner mechanism.Last edited by mesabeetle; 11-29-2010 at 04:51 AM.. |
