Default sunroof wind deflector

i got a wind deflector for my birthday this year. but i don't really like it...i don't think it does anything...i had abbie a year b4 i got the deflector. i know that it's suppose to reduce the noise in the cabin but honestly i can't tell the difference. and i like the way abbie looks with out it...so my question is what is the best way to remove it or should i take it to the dealer (who instaled it) and ask them to remove it?

and just out of curiosity what is your opinion of the the deflector?

Don't take ur beetle back the the dealership that's a waste of gas/money. My mom and I put the sunroof deflector on Sallie but when I got Laycee the salesguy moved it. All u need is a screwdriver and a helping hand the deflectors are super easy to put on and take off

when i took it off it was verry dirty under where it was...and after i whipped all the dirt off there was a few spots where there is an impression of where it use to be but for the most part you can't tell it's there.

pictures of right after i took the deflector off:
