Default Wind Noise

On my 2010 Red Rock I get a real noisy wind noise in the drivers door at 70+ mph. Had it to the dealer and they adjusted the weatherstrip to try to quiet it. It did somewhat at the front part near the a pillar but it seems the wind is getting in the door itself and creating the noise as no air leaks into the car. Any ideas, are all new beetles this way.

If you have ever had to call a wrecker service for a lock out, they might have bent the upper door frame. This causes a loud wind noise. I roll down the window and bend the window frame back, usually gets rid of the noise.

I have wind noise in my '99. Its from both doors now but it started at just the drivers. Definitely noticed most at 70mph+ Been like that since I got it (used, 5 1/2 years ago). The door doesn't look like its entirely lined up though...I keep meaning to try to adjust it but I've gotten used to the noise and no leaks.

I'd see if the dealer would adjust the door for you.

The previous owner of my Beetle had installed wind deflectors around both front door windows. I can only assume that wind noise was the reason. As is, I don't have any major issues with highway noise.

Never had a wrecker get in, dealer adjusted the striker to move door in and readjusted the weather stripping. Noise still there. Car only 2 months old.
