Brake Issues

Hello again! You guys always seem to have some great suggestions for me when I'm having a bug problem. My newest issue involves my brakes, or more specifically when I brake. A little while ago I ran over a huge fallen palm tree frond. I tried to avoid it but circumstances lead me right over it. Well after I ran it over I heard a scratching noise on the front passenger side when I would brake (I had never heard anything like this before). So naturally I pulled over, hopped out to check if I was dragging something or if something was stuck BUT I didn't see anything. This happened for the next couple of turns but then stopped. I checked more thoroughly when I got home but still couldn't find anything. But I'm still having the problem, I wont hear the noise every time I brake, just sometimes. And I'll hear it sometimes when I turn, mainly right. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
