Yeah its been about 3 months since this happened and its been pretty smooth sailing since then. I'm just really angry at the people I bought the car from because I kept bringing it into them and they would tell me nothing was wrong, and then I brought it into someone else and he found 3 things wrong with it.
Also: it was Prestige Auto Mart in Westport, MA

Did you say they sold you a New Battery but never installed it? That is right out fraud and I would report this to the authorities.

They didn't sell me one, it was right after I bought it and I was having issues with the car so they claimed they put a new battery in and that "fixed it" but they did nothing but reset the check engine light

The car dealer I bought my car from really screwed me over.
Turns out they didn't even replace the battery, they just told me they did. Every time my check engine light came on, I would take it in, they would blame it on something ridiculous like me letting my gas get to low and reset it. Fast forward 8 months, I give up on them and take it to someone else, I needed to replace 2 o2 sensors, a mass airflow sensor, and some evap thing(can't remember, it was a while ago)
The mechanic told me they had literally glued one of my o2 sensors and it stripped it. (I also may be explaining this wrong, but there was glue involved.)

Anyway, long story short, it was awful.
heh... talk about being screwed over.. the little crappy used car dealership put black electrical tape over my check engine light, ASR warning light, and my airbag light and I didn't find out until my 4th year of ownership, long after the place shut down! I was so angry! God forbid I had been in an accident, my airbags would not have deployed since the light was on, I couldn't see it! Talk about scary...
