Default Intermittent bass on Monsoon system... help?!

2006 NB - Monsoon system...

I suddenly have no bass... however, it will come on every now and then for a few minutes so I don't think it's the amp (as it seems to work)... I think it may be a connector/wire/fuse. Does anyone know or have any pictures of where the amp and fuse/connector/ect are located? I have no idea where to look!

Are you sure it is not a speaker cutting in and out?

There is no fuse on the amp. I too think you might have a speaker problem is it in the door?

Bass doesn't come out of all speakers. But, if you have no bass, it's quite possible it's a wiring issue, bass/treble control in the HU, or possibly the amp. Does the bass kick in and out when your messing with the control? The amp is located in the rear of the vehicle, up under to the left side. I'd check the speakers first, next time it comes on, isolate which speaker(s) it is coming from. You may find it is only coming from one, and that it is out in the others.

I'm sure there is an audiophile on here who can tell you which ones are the bass speakers. I dunno.

M.
