Why disable it? I t probably just needs some white lithium grease to lube it up. Plus after a while you never even notice the sound of the spoiler.

You can wipe it out and grease it with white lithium but it will always be mechanically clunky sounding, thats just the way it operates. Remove the fuse and it won't go up any longer. If you speed it is useful at high speed, trust me.
