I recently adopted a 2001 NB 2.0 GLS from my mother. In the last 3 weeks since taking ownership I have changed out the flasher relay, the battery and purchased an obdII scanner to clear the CEL. It has 71,000 miles on it and I am sending it in to have the timing belt, tensioner, serp. belt, and thermostat changed. I am now considering changing the transmission fluid and filter. I think I have the 4 speed automatic but am unsure. I looked in the trunk and found the transmission code to be "FDF". I was unable to find any info on this code in the search option. I am thinking I have the 01M. How can I find out which tranny I have so I can order the correct kit to change the fluid and filter?
