Default a/c not working

I have a 2000 1.8t . I just got it 2 weeks ago . running great! the a/c stopped working today. it worked perfect yesterday and today, nothing . the blower comes on ,the compressor is on.the fans are on up front but it wont get cool. I checked the pressure and the high is 100 and the low is about 65. does this mean the compressor is done? I have another one but dont want to change it if Im wrong. I have another parts car if there is somthing else i can change

Compressor and pressure issues are not my forté, but there is at least one member on here who is very knowledgeable and always willing to help in this regard. Stay tuned, he should be along...

It sounds like the reed valves in the compressor are bad.
