Exclamation Anyone replaced a window switch lately? Or know where I can get just a button cover?

I looked online and can only find the whole switch. I took mine apart and a piece of the plastic on the backside broke. I just need the plastic button that you see and touch to make the window go, the power switch itself is fine. Any idea where I can get just that part or perhaps anyone here have a bad switch that they took out that they would like to donate/sell me? I tried my go to junk yards and no beetles were there. I bought this 99 Beetle 2 months ago and lets just say I'm glad I have a back up car, it's been a headache.

This is a nice forum by the way, the atmosphere is unique.

Reason i ask is, i have one on my desk here
where it's been for the last 6 months

Off my old bug, the door panels i bought were from the U.S.
so the switches are from a U.S. Bug as is the surround

I'll even use some goo gone to take off the glue as
i had 3M covers on them before.

Bet you say it's a single now

I don't think I conveyed the part I need well enough. The piece I need is the plastic part you touch to put the window up or down. That is what broke, that's why I asked if anyone had a bad switch laying around so I could get the button.

Don't worry about cost, it's Christmas

Would of sent via a PM reply, but my PM's aren't working
