Passenger door locked
hello
i have a problem with my 2004 beetle. the passenger door won't unlock and therefore not open. i have managed to get the door panel of. also the panel behind it is of but i am still unable to open the door. to get the door lock unit out i need the door open. has anyone had the same problem and can point me in the right direction before i will set the car on fire. thank you

If it's a lock issue that doesn't involve being rusted shut, this should work, courtesy beetlejuice1 -
Opening a stuck door due to door module failure HELP!!!! Doors wont open from inside or out! If it's rusted shut, and every other thing you try fails, including all this poster did, here was his final resolve (courtesy Dans98Beetle) - Anybody Ever Try To Open A Door That Won't OPEN???? Door Latch Problem and SOLUTION!!!!! If you need to see the door trim and panel R&R, I have it posted in this thread - Door Trim and Panel R&R 1st car! Hi everyone! Hope this helps! M.
