no airbag light
so today, my beetle is sitting at my local vdub shop. one item that they mentioned needed to be looked at was something with the airbag. apparently it's not communicating w/the brain properly or something-i know i sound like an airhead there, but i was too bowled over by the other mechanical problems that this issue just kinda was pushed to the wayside for the time being. BUT what surprised me is that the airbag indicator does not light up at all. my shop tech didn't seem to think that it was a burned out light. i know this isn't a lot of information, but has anyone had this experience?
