Unhappy Help, My 2002 beetle wont start

Hey everybody, just joined the forum and need your expertise.
I have a 2002 Beetle Turbo S with about 43K miles. I had no problem driving my car in the morning but when I started my car in the evening, the electronic immobilizer light is flushing. After a couple of trials and then I noticed that the tip of the key is chipped. I tried with another key which is in pretty good condition but electronic immobilizer signal wont go away and I can't run my car. My battery is less than half a year old. How can I fix this problem? Really appreciate for any help and suggestion!

If the immobilizer is active, you will not be able to start the car, as it will be "immobilized".

Thanks for the reply. How can I fix this problem? How can I deactivate the immobilizer?

To my knowledge, you cannot. It would be easier to just get new keys.

The dealer can deactivate it. Not sure if you can do anything with VAG-COM or not.

The key has a chip to turn off the system, if the chip has lost it's code it has to be re-synced to the car or it will never start.

Alarm key is different and can be user coded, the immobilizer can't.
