2009 NB Convertible - wiper lever question

Hi There!

I'm sure this is going to be an easy question, and I'm going to feel very silly after hearing the answer, but here goes:

I just purchased a 2009 NB Convertible, which I love! I noticed that on the windshield wiper lever, there is a "reset" button on the bottom of the lever and an up/down switch on the end of the lever (the up/down switch is like that of the accel/decel switch on the cruise control).

I cannot figure out what these things do...they are not listed in my owner's manual.

I have a 09 NBC and I don't know what you have either. Can you take a picture and show us what you have?

Could it possibly have a headlight washer system? Just guessing.
