Default Button thing on armrest

Has anyone had problems with the latch mechanism on the arm rest? The one that latches the top of the arm rest so it doesn't stay open. I have no idea how to put this thing back on. Anyone have a picture on how this thing goes in? I may need another, so if anyone is selling one, please let me know. Thanks

I had the same problem before and ended up getting a new one from the dealer. I believe it was somewhere between $15 and $20. You can also search for "New Beetle Armrest Latch" on ebay.

Mine was totally missing when I bought DaZee. It cost me $12 at the dealership, and the guy put it on for me

I replaced mine too. I think once you get the new one it's easy to see how it goes in. just be careful it doesn't break going in
