hi rev's in 5th gear
Hi have just bought a 2007 beetle 1.6 petrol
the car drives great ,but when driving on the motorway the rev's seem very high in 5th gear @70 mph its reving at about 4000rpm does ant body know if i can change the 5th gear cog in the gear box to bring the rev's down

Yes there is a 5th gear swap. I know a lot of the TDI guys do it.
Sorry that's all I got. Do a search on here, I'm sure it will turn up something.
