MO,
Car: VW New Beetle 2002
Default Shock absorbers

I have New beetle 2002 that dips down a lot and etc. Im thinking the car needs new shock absorbers. If I dont slow down when I drive on this one street in the neighborhood that I bump the plate under the car. It's when I'm driving on a street that dips a little or causes the car to dip down a little too much if I'm not driving slow.

So I was wondering how much shock absorbers cost for a New Beetle 2002 car?!

Whao, that is a good deal.

Although it doesn't include 'everything' as it does not include the springs for the front and back which I would replace as well, given my own experience with suspension replacement last summer and finding both rear coils broken.

So that kit plus some coils and he'd have that new car feel. It doesn't look like Blauparts carries springs specific to the Beetle.

I heard good things about these Solo Werks Coilovers. They are German Made.

Solo Werks Solo S1 Coilover Suspension Kit for VW Golf, GTI, GLI, Jetta, New Beetle MKIV
Those will lower the ride mind you.

Over at RockAuto they list MOOG coils which should mimic the OEM setup fairly well according to the info there, around $80 for both front and back pairs.

parts:
#81055 and #81134

Depending on the condition you may also want to replace the upper seat for the rear coil, this is rubber and may wear out. I can't find a part number for this.
