Default Window regulator and Door Locks burn out

I have had an on-going problem with my 2004 GLS Turbo. The regulator that controls the windows and door locks keeps burning out (it has been replaced 5 times!!!). The dealer has never looked into the cause.

Has anyone heard of this problem before?

Thanks

First, welcome to the Org.

Second, I'm moving this to a forum for the right traffic for your issue. See you there!

First where are you located?
You are asking about two different parts, the door lock, AND the window regulator.
Do you mean the electric motor that makes the window go up and down? The regulator is just a device attached to the gear box of the electric motor.
When you say door lock, is that the mechanical lock, or the electric solenoid that locks and unlocks the door? Are they replacing parts or just the fuse that controls the current to the parts?
