Default Cleaning inside of windshield......

Any tips on how to clean the inside of the windshield?
I just use windex and paper towels and reach as far as I can.
When the sun hits it right,I can see what a bad job I have done.
Seems like I am getting it all but I am not..............

That's about it.
Windex, or there are a couple of other window cleaners out that are pretty good.

Since the spray bottles don't work all that well getting the bottom of the NB windshield, I have one of the bulk refill bottles... and I just poor a little of the stuff on a clean sponge to apply it to the glass. Then I use newspaper to wipe it dry... and never see any streaks or glare (at least... not until it's time to clean 'em again )

Just take your time and make sure you hit everywhere.

You can get one of these guys to do it for you, their arms are long enough to reach the base of the windshield.

I tried one of those once, it did a great job but left a big mess on my dash.

Follow up with a clean chamois, dampened and squeezed out all excess water. Then wipe. Use this chamois just for windows ONLY. It stays clean that way. Wash it very good after each use.

I use the glass spray that is made specifically for auto's. I LOVE it. I can use papertowels and NOT get streaks.

I do know to wipe in one direction on the outside and in the other direction on the inside. That way wou know which side is worse

The easy way to clean the window is to use one of these: http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=90247

No fuss, no muss. Gets down to the base of the window without any problems. Also use their window cleaner, no streaks, just clean glass. Also works wonders on reading glasses.
