Default Vag-Com Needed - code provided

Hey everyone, I'm from Long Island NY, and my check engine light has been on for quite some time, so I was just wondering if anyone in the area would be willing to help me out by just giving my baby a little check up, please let me know, thanks a lot.
-Mark

edit:

so the code was as follows

16804- P0420
Catalyst System,Bank1 Efficiency Below Threshold

I had the problem before so I replaced the cat. Any idea what it could be?

Autozone or Discount Auto Parts will scan your car for free and give you the fault codes, then bring them back here and compare to the posted list.

It seems to me that our cars love to turn the check engine light on. I would unhook the battery for an hour or so, then see if the code comes back. It might just be a random thing. Good luck.
