NB battery? electric problems? I dont know!

2001 NB.
I've had problems in the past with my trunk not shutting but it usually (with time) will latch again. This time however it wouldn't shut and then I tried to start my NB and it started clicking rapidly. when I turn the key to the 1st position my trunk light, EPC, CEL lights all light up.

I've noticed the past week that when I start my car it'll give a little shudder and be fine. I was afraid it'd lead to something worse, but never thought this! Anyone have suggestions? I can move it anywhere right now. ????

I JUST bought the car less than a month ago and I'm ready to get rid of it! nothing is worth this hassle! I have to get to work!

most of my rant was due to frustration.
I haven't even made the 1st payment on it yet and I'm already having to find alternate ways to get to work... I'm going to replace the battery (if I can get to it) tonight. And I believe that will fix the ole' Spaminator. :-)

And you are right, the bettery was due to go out. I just didn't expect it to have gone out within the 1st few weeks of owning it :-/
