We don't wear Birks but consider ourselves old hippies. We're children of the 60's and have been to our share of love-ins, sit-ins, free concerts and my better half was at Woodstock (my micro bus broke down). We're not stuck in the 60's tho. Having kids your tastes tend to grow too. I'd still smoke pot if I didn't have to pee on a regular basis to keep my job.

I was never into the sandal thing....don't know why. I certainly love my toes in the grass. I've been a moccasin person since I began buying my own clothes and only wear Minnetonka moccasins to this day.

* burn incense in the garage every weekend

* have smoked "herb" by the bale back in the day (rolled my own, thanks)

* mfg. anodized aluminum bongs for head shops (in the 70's) before they were made illegal

* wear jeans 99% of the time

* was a tree hugger before it was fashionable

* vote verry liberally

* I know about most of those freaks named and a whole lot more

* Drove 380 miles to Oakland to find out what was up with all the brothers (Black Panthers, Huey Newton, Oakland Free Press etc.)

* married a very cool lady (never had an arguement in 28 years)

* help or take care of my neighbors without expectations
