Default 2008?

Hi all.

I noticed the threads for R2K 07 started around this time last year. So when is Roswell 08? I am already very excited. Hard to believe I was complaining about the 110 degrees at the Grand Canyon.....

I believe Jerry is correct - same weekend as father's day. You are right though. Almost no discussion has started. I will dig around and see what is planned or going on.

Yeah - David posted the dates for the next two years on the Newbeetle Topica list soon after this year's was over and I think they did go back to Father's Day weekend.

Hi Jerry, Susan, and Antoine!! Thanks guys! I will give those dates to my employer tomorrow and ask for time off. When I think about the fun we had last year, I can't help but smile. That was most definitely the best time I've had in a while!

There are usually a number of them. I don't know that we'll be having another Rt 66 ride this year, but I'm sure there will be some sort of CENTRAL! Caravan heading from up your way. And I hope to be in it again once it gets to Oklahoma!

The Route 66 carabug will happen in 09. Since it seems like we have more active Colorado Beetlers now, I'm hoping for a carabug down I-25. Hi everyone!!! Laura, I'm going to email you soon.

I'm still on the fence...seeing as how it is on Father's Day and Aiden won't be coming with me this year if I go. That would really suck.

I'm on the fence too.

We have unfinished business in Roswell. If you recall we missed out on the Saturday festivities due to a bad fuel pump. Jerry O, sent the photo of 'red' on the flatbed, I appreciated that. We enjoyed the companionship of the event and hosting dinner for the west most point of the Rt. 66 tour.

We'll see how spring shapes up!

hey i tried to get an angle of it so it looked like it was in the show and not on the flat bed , but its hard to hide a 5 ton truck ,,lol

yeah we had a great time at your house , it was a blast to see the kids peering out the window when the beetle parade showed up.

i have a shot somewhere of all of us hovering over a fuel pump in arizona , i'll look and see if i can find it !

thanks again for the hospitality !

Default New dates of R2Kv9

Hi All,

From the Head Alien, David Allen:

The dates for R2Kv9 have changed to June 20 - 22. The Roswell Youth Academy graduation bumped R2K a week.

David is working on getting the website changed.

Please pass this information on.

Thanks,

Lisa & Daisy Bug

Daisy would probably sneak out if I told her I wasn't going.

Hooray! I was going to have a conflict, and now I don't have to ditch other people to go to the show!

Even though it's going to be a week hotter this year, I'll manage just fine.
