More info on the shirts to honour the 10th Anniversary of the Roswell NB show. The shirt will have the design shown on the show website (roswell 2k: the 10th anniversary - new beetles return to roswell), plus the dates of the show underneath.

You do not need to attend the show to receive a t-shirt! It's a great design to wear at other VW shows, to your cousin's Bar Mitzvah, or while washing the dog.

Preliminary pricing is around the $15 mark, plus $3 extra for 2XL or 3XL. Shipping, if you need it, would be about another $4. All this can be paid with Paypal, and I don't need the money until I put the order in and this is all for sure. I only plan to buy about 150 shirts, so once they're accounted for, that's it, so order in the next week or so.

These aren't just any cheap shirts. The design will be digitally printed on it, not just silk screened or a rubber transfer that wears off. It's a 6 ounce shirt, similar to a "Hanes Beefy T", 100% cotton. The itchy neck tag is replaced with a printed label. It's double-needle tailored to retain its shape wash after wash. Also, the neck and shoulder seams are fully taped, so these will retain their shape and comfort for a long time.

So, order one to wear at shows, and another for hanging out with. Sure to become a collector's item! Please email me directly about the quantity and size needed. I know everyone is on a tight budget these days, so this gives you a few weeks to save up.

Really??? Aww cmon! You're just pullin my leg...

Joey and I have never really taken Evilina past the 500 mile one way trip mark, so 778 shouldn't be too bad..... we are in the planning stages and it's looking pretty good...maybe someone out there may want to help change her water pump when we arrive. LOL

I hear ya Shonnel. This is going to be Cup's biggest trip to date. May we'll be up to Bryson City NC, which is about an 8 hr. drive, where this trip will be 1516 miles- a 24 hour trip..a solo journey. I think i'll make this a 2 leg trip. The first leg will stop in Dallas, where I hope to meet up with a couple of orgers, and then make my way to Roswell. I hope my plans hold solid- I really want to make this trip. Cup does too

We are really gonna press to make this one!! Especially since it may be the last one for a while..

Gah! The idea of getting the photo opt of a lifetime is whats driving me!! After all these years, looking at all these great beetles in GTG's too far from here and now finally Evilina will get the chance! SO! Can't wait and you better be there!!

Ah! Yes! I'm quite familiar with that dry dry heat. I guess it won't be that bad then! Nothin like a giant blow dryer to cool ya off!

We are one more step closer to coming out to Roswell!!!

We have our room booked at the Sally Port and I spoke with Irene who was super nice and also excited to see all the Beetles again this year.... She said there are only a few rooms left on the block, so if you have not made your reservations, you might want to do so soon!!

It's official... or close enough

Just booked my room. FYI: and you all probably know this by now. Book your room through Sally Port and NOT the Best Western 1-877 number. You'll get a conformation# with the 1-877, but not the discount.

I've never made this trek before, so i'm thinking i should leave Jacksonville Tuesday, and make my way there by Thursday.

I'm pretty Amp'd!!! As I told a certain, special orger friend of mine, this is like the Super Bowl of GTG's.

Guess I better put a few extra dollars in my coffee can bank

Hurray... that's great that we have another person pumped on coming on the trip. If I can make a suggestion though, your experience will be much more fun driving in a line of Bugs across the country.

Check out the website and plan to go on a caravan, even if it takes you an extra day. You won't regret it!!

Okay, so I looked on the SoCal forums on the eastern caravan, and it looks like the closest leg will be in Arkansas, which is kinda out of the way. Still it would be worth the drive. Let me stew over this for a while.

I wish there were some southeast folks chiming in here. I don't know if there's any interests or attendees for that matter. A southeast bugavan would be sweet.

I'm really considering making a stop to Dallas to see you. Either before or after Roswell- not sure which way yet.

Alright I just read the whole thread.

I'm in.

This will give me a couple months to freshen up one of the buggies to take. I'll probably end up taking Wasabi. I've got some maintenence to do and some other freshing up. But yeah it's only 600+ from glourious Kingman, and it looks like a straight shot on the 40 into NM. If anyone or a group wants to swing through for a pitstop I'll be here just let me know when and we can carabug out. I was able to get a room reserved for that Thursday 2 queen beds so if anyone wants to split a room to keep costs down here's an opportunity.

So I need to start hustling around to get things done.

Whatever works for anyone else. I'm ok with just about any time or place. Is there anyone else from our neck of the woods making the journey?

Anyone's welcome to start their own caravan from their area if there isn't an official caravan formed. The more the merrier! Just organize where you'll be and work out the itinerary, then post it to the return2roswell.org forums. You might even have others join you, then meet up with another caravan and form a larger one!
