I did just a few minutes ago speak with Amie Morales at the Roswell Sally Port Best Western. They are completely remodeling and will not reopen until January. Their rates that are posted now on their website will increase after the remodel.

To reserve your room for next June's New Beetle Party, please call the Sally Port on weekdays between 9 and 5 MDT. There are two people in the office during the week, and no one there at any other time. The number to call is 575-622-6430. If no one answers, leave Amie a voice mail message with your phone # and she will call you back. Please remember to tell her or whoever might answer that you are with the New Beetle Group for the special room rate. If you can't reach them, her direct e mail address is amiemorales32062@yahoo.com.

I did reserve my room and will get there the day before on June 8th, so she changed the dates for the special rates an extra day. Just make sure you let her know what days you will be there.

I am probably forgetting something, never mind I forgot what I was going to say.

So, I'm hoping to make Roswell in 2011. But really, unless by some miracle I win the lottery, funds aren't looking so hot at this point. Lots of "catch up" needs to be done on Probie for the repairs I've already made. And tax returns don't look like they'll be all that great since I've been using unemployment all year long. I'm sure it'll be a poor return or I'll possibly have to pay, who knows. Matt isn't in a much better spot either. But here's hoping. I'll book rooms when I know more...but for right now...I'm a hopeful.

So maybe he will again? You could catch that one one the way threw. That is what we did last time. We will be bringing two beetles this time. So the mighty CENTRAL will be large and proud..

I really want to go..this will be my first time I am new to new beetle.org but i am very interested in attending is there a registration and a caravan that pass to 1-10

Caravans will form closer to time and the website will point you to these once the new year starts.

Not sure about registration fee this year or if we are going to try to do what we did last year. Just hang out and check back to this thread as time gets closer.

Yes, where are you located (fill in your profile info). I-10 is a long stretch. I'm on the FL leg of I-10. if you're on the way, it would be nice for our FL/GA bugavan to meet up with you.

I had called twice and got the answering machine but received no reply to the voice mail I left. But today I called at about 4:30pm (your time zone) and a young man immediately answered the phone and fixed me up. He seemed young and "learning" but very friendly and helpful. I could hear a "coach" working with him in the background. I suppose that was probably Amie. Call them again during the middle of the day and I bet they will answer your call.

We have our rooms booked, the cars are ready to go and the bags are "always" packed. How long do we still have to wait?

I should call this week and make my reservation...not sure who I am rooming with this year, I have a friend who wants to come, not sure if the b/f is up for it, and I talked to an orger about rooming together...one way or another it will work out I am sure
