BUT...I'll be taking the I-10 route to Roswell myself since I live in San Antonio. DFW is Waaay too far outta the way for me.

Don't get me wrong, it is a nice drive at the end! you just don't wanna break down! I think it was 285 after I-10. That was a nice drive. And knowing you are getting close to roswell. Always a good thing!

Yeah, its 285 I think. Certainly before you get to El Paso. But still an ugly drive. Done the EP to SA once. Once was enough. But....maybe I can hook up in a carabug with some fine folk coming from the East! So the drive wouldn't be such a bore!

I did take I-20... it seemed like it would never end- about 400+ miles. It would've been great if I had a few beetles to keep me company. I did on the way back (thanks Rob and Liz), until they had to take the exit to Kileen. It was an experience to remember

There's quite a few Beetlers from CA who travel to Roswell in a carabug. Casey aka mybugrocks has their club's website in her signature. Check it out!

I am looking forward to attending Roswell.

1. Its closer than TOD to me.
2. Never been to Roswell but always wanted to visit.

Just missed going to the one last year.

So true Casey. The townspeople were really happy to see us! I remember this city worker who pulled in the parking lot on Friday night as Danny and I were tweaking around with our nB's. Dude was touring the lot like it was a Christmas light show in the neighborhood. His visit was followed by a steady stream of cars driving through the parking lot enjoying the show, albeit we were all parked and retired for the night. It was pretty cool!

Hahaha I remember you guys sayin that the next morning, how awesome that we stir up so much commotion the night after some guy in a pick-up pulled in and talked to us asking when the parade was and stuff, he had missed it earlier that day but he was slowly driving around looking at all of our cars. This was before everyone went outside to the parking lot, I think it was just JoAnne, her friend and I but it was neat

P.S. ROCK ON PARKING LOT CREW!!!! that was the funnest time ever

You could always join us at the Tail of the Dragon if you want to play with beetles this summer (May 1 weekend).

I believe Lisa is from your neck of the woods...not sure exactly where she is though.
But we look forward to seeing you next summer!

Well, count me in then!!! Roswell is just a hop-skip-jump away, and I need and excuse to go visit Socorro and Carlsbad anyways...

Hopefully flutterbug will have a new paint job by then, LOL
