All the excitement for the Tail of the Dragon threads and nothing on Roswell 2011 yet? Shame!

Who's exciting to be Returning to Roswell? Still feels weird to not be out there every summer...

Anyway, Just wanted to create a little excitement! We've got less than 365 days before it's time to hit the road!

Planning is under way...not too much to report yet.

Looking at moving it to a park possibly...help with the direct sun...also moving the date up a bit will hopefully help with that as well.

I think we are talking about figuring out a way to bring the Pod Glow back...Shonnel has a great idea for a photo scavenger hunt of sorts - will let everyone know when we start getting things squared up.

Definitely will post when Earl has secured the group rate for the Sally Port.

Moving to a park wouldn't be a bad idea...the Rhonda said the temp there last week was 116.

One year ago, at about this time, the "Central" was rolling into Roswell. Can't wait to do it again next year.

Funny (not funny haha) that you mentioned that Antione. I was about 30 miles from Roswell, making the final approach if you will, when I heard the news on the radio about Michael Jackson.

It was nice getting out of the humid south/TX and coming into the drier NM air- it was actually a refreshing almost cool feeling.

The picture of approaching the Sally Port was one i'll never forget. All of the history of the event and now finally being a part of it; and seeing the host of nB in attendance- the largest gathering i've ever seen. It was a great time and i'm looking forward to being there again.

I hope to see many of the Cali nB peeps posting here. I was amazed at the number of non-org nB owners in attendance. It would be nice to see some of them here connecting with us. Do they have a domain where they converse on events? I wouldn't mind peeking my head in to say hi
