I-40 Bugavan to OKC/Roswell

[Duffy]

Interest is developing for an I-40 Bugavan to OKC and to meet up with the Central Bugavan in OKC. Need to set a tentative schedule for the Bugavan.

Currently I know of four folks traveling I-40 to OKC: bugsfriend (Roland), Dee (Conway), Kathryn (Conway) and Duffy (from Jonesboro to Conway).

Anyone else?

Wednesday, June 8

6:30 am - Tom (Duffy) and Judy leaving Jonesboro

8:30 am - Conway, AR Exit 127 - Denny's Restruant
Tom, Kaythryn, Dee, WheelyBug, and Ollie &Tabitha.

9:00 am Depart Conway

11:30 am - Roland, OK Exit 325 Pilot Truck Stop
Tom (bugsfriend)
- This could be a good place to stop for lunch

12:30 pm Depart Roland


3:20 - 4:00 - Arrive Days Inn Exit 145, OKC
Central Bugavan to Roswell (Thursday, June 9)

Those of you coming here to OKC the night before.... We're willing to cook some burgers at our house here in OKC for everyone on Wednesday night. Also, Kathryn, there's always a spare bedroom for you here.

Fallon, you're the best! If you and Ryan come to Bugtoberfest this year, you're welcome to stay at my house. John and Llona too. I'm really looking forward to Roswell this year. I traveled alone from AR to OKC last time so it will be good to have some company this time around.

Yep.. right now our route is looking good to meet up with you guys in Conway..

We're still planning on hosting a cookout the night of the 8th at our house here in OKC if anyone coming through would like a free dinner. Maybe a headcount?

Yes. I will be in Conway 8:30ish. The schedule has not changed at of today. I can assume the cookout will be added to the itinerary. Yummy.

Looks like I'll get to go to my 1st gtg! Out of the blue, my 15 year old
son told me that if I still wanted to go to Roswell, he'd ride along!
I don't know if he's trying to return me to my mothership or if he just
wants to make use of his driver's permit! Doesn't matter to me, if he's
willing to spend 5-6 days with his favorite mother, and her most
favorite-est Beetle, I'm game!
We're 5 hours from Little Rock, so we'll do our best to get to Conway
by 8:30am, Wed. There will be room for us to tag along, right?!

We are north of Memphis, do you know if anyone is coming through Memphis towards Little Rock. We'll get on I-40 around Memphis.

We'll be coming through memphis, but should be on the evening of the 7th sometime

We're looking forward to meeting up with you all in OKC. What a time we're going to have on that run to Roswell. Can't believe we're actually doing it again.

And just in case anyone is interested....

I think our old friend Jacob may actually join us somewhere along the line....again! That will definitely make it all good.
