Default Volkswagen of America reemerged as the best full-line corporation.

The TQI (Total Quality Index) that rates plant efficiency has VW as the best full line corporation. Way to go guys!

Seems to me if all of their product line rates consistently, if an average is taken, and other lines have a few stars and the rest dogs, then the one with the best average rating would come out on top...slow and steady wins the race. As the article says on Ford:

Quote:
Ford's only win was significant, as its much-heralded Fusion took top honors.
So even though they had one "winner" the rest of their stuff must have rated lower.

If one of their vehicles came in at #2, it wouldn't show up, as that only showed the winner in each category right? It's an overall report. Try not to be so negative Porkchop, sometimes the glass is half full, not always half empty.

I think people in here would rather read the positive report on VW quality I posted than your snide and sarcastic negative comments... but that's just my opinion

I'd rather buy from a company with a long standing record of quality across the board, not with one or two cars which they happen to hit it big with. VW has that history, going much further back than any of the Japanese companies, and this survey seems to support that. Sure the US companies have a few cars on the list, but I look back to the garbage they sold in the 80's and 90's...

But to be frank, these are all opinions, and I am tired oft the bickering. I'm done on these topics

not a single VW in sight on the list...

but at least VW got something... although i'm not exactly sure what the best full-line corporation is.
