2007 Triple White

I spoke to my local dealership on Friday - and my sales guy told me that the new triple white will be out in the spring, but it will actually have a gray top... then today I found this pic! Beautiful! I MUST own one!

Uhhhhh, if the top isn't white, then it's not 'triple white'.

BTW, that vert has gray interior. It just looks white from a distance in that shot.

I heard that the triple white might be for a 2008 "10 year anniversary" edition...

Niki mentioned at the GTG this weekend that she saw what looked to be a triple white in California... but we were thinking that might be job done after purchase?!?!?!

I had heard that it would be a 10th Anv Special Edition in '07 (as 2007 is the 10th Model year...I know, sounds weird, but count them...) I saw there was an attachment on this thread, and was hoping for an actual pic...I would so love a triple white vert!! Would love it more in the original body style...

that's what I said... but Tom (the sales guy) said they were still calling it that because that's what the original was called.

That might explain the grey top...white would look really bad in a short time, unless cared for daily almost.

I dunno, how many years did they produce the triple white Super Beetle and Cabriolet? I still see 'em around and the tops look ok to me.

agreed, but I know people have had a hard time keeping the new ones looking good...might be worse with white...but what do I know...

That's what I said to my salesman - to which he rolled his eyes and said that it's not REALLY going to be a "triple white", but it will have white body, white interior, and white boot.

Sounds hot to me! I'm sure it'll have the gray interior plastics, so it'll look ok with the gray top up, and probably white leatherette seats. Nice.
