At what rpm does the 240 ft-lbs kick in? If it is in the 1600 range, this will make it a kick to drive!

looked up the specs on vw.co.uk - should be pretty much the same for the US version

Thanks for this. Yup, 1750 is low for 236 ft.lbs. Although the 0-62 time looks slow, I bet the 0-30 is not.

a hybrid TDI would get like 100 miles to the gallon. if there is one in the future, they sure haven't been promoting it like they should.
