Michelin's "Tweel" airless tire.
I found this pretty interesting, it doesn't look very cool on street cars but it might work well on SUV's. The tread is supposed to last three times as long as a regular tire.

i watched something on TV about this they seem to be quite cool, though i dont see something like that going into production for normal use ( tire companies would have a fit about sales )
