Default Porsche to buy VW

An EU court have decided that a German law to restricts share holders in VW to only vote for a maximum of 20% of total shares have been found "illegal". After this finding, Porsche are now interested in increasing its ownership of VW from 31% to over 50%.

Mind if I ask the source of that info? I'd like to read up on it.

Here's one for ya.

I'm not sure what I think about it...hopefully Porsche will make some good decisions on VW...but with it being a luxury car brand, will they bring up VW closer to that? Hopefully not...

I would think it would benefit a luxury brand to NOT create overlap w/their subsidiary. Then again, look at the Phaeton and wonder why it's not an Audi.

Maybe Porsche can correct the screw up. ;p

Could be interesting.

And since Porsche keeps the 911/Carerra lines going, maybe we can keep the New Beetle alive!

My source at the time was a Norwegian newspaper. I doubt most of you would have much benefit from reading that
