What is the NB Black Tie Edition?

Saw this listed as a trim level on yahoo and can't find anything else about it? Anyone have info or pics?

From what I can dig up it's just a PZEV-certified Bug.

Nothing special, though it's a Base S.

I know this is old by .org standards but I just wanted to say that I was at a dealership the other day looking at the deals they had on New Beetles and the dealership schmuck proudly walked me over to their "08 Black Tie Edition!" and said I should really consider this one. From what I could tell, the one they had was a black SE NB with a black interior, but with some white accents and the white leather seats from the Triple White. It actually looks really sharp but I'm just so much not a fan of a black car and white seats! Talk about a cleaning nightmare. It did come with the really nice 17" 5-spoke wheels, not the ugly "versus" wheels. Other than the wheels and the white seats/accents it didn't really look any different from your stock SE.

Anyway I saw the car and remembered this thread and thought somebody might like to know a little more about it!

Black with black interior.
Rear top spoiler (black)
17" alloys (TMPS)
White leather seats

Pzev is standard engine on 08 in CA

its otherwise stock but theres a lot of stock features on the 08s like the heated seats and what not...

but other than the look of the white interior (which is gawdaweful to keep clean), nothing out of the ordinary, nothing that no one else is missing out on.
