Porsche Type 12?
Being that Porsche is constantly upping their ownership of Volkswagen could it be possible that Porsche would offer its own version of their beetle? Sense the original beetle prototype was under the name porsche there is a slight chance they could pay homage to this model. Right?

That car wasn't branded as a "Porsche" (the 356 was the first car to be labeled as such), but was only listed as that due to the engineers/designers. So I highly doubt Porsche will make anything Beetle-shaped.
Oh wait, they did. It's called the 356.  Then the evolution, the 911/912.
