Welcome Blush Girl.
We have the Canadian Version of the Blush Edition.
It came with silver paint instead of the white/gold color.
I know exactly what you mean about lots of attention.
Enjoy the car.

Very nice-looking Beetle! With that said, I don't want to change the mood to somber, but I hope these "special editions" are not indicative of the NB's Swan Song. As the old air-cooled Beetle was dying in the mid-late 1970's, some "special editions" were built in limited numbers as well, like the Champagne Edition and the Sun Bug.....Then, of course, the final old-style Beetles from Mexico in 2004; the Ultima Edition.

A re-skinned NB II is said to be coming in '11 or '12, but until I hear it officially from Winterkorn, I'll be nervous......

Man, that would suck if the NB is killed, wouldn't it?

Yes, it would be stupid and sad not to have New Beetles. Or change them so much they are no longer Beetles. My dealership seems to sell them just fine. I see them around town a lot. Each one makes me smile so much! They are also always CLEAN.

I've seen a Blush at 3 different dealers in the last month. Took some pics yesterday at the local dealer. They have two in stock. I just want the Tire Pressure Monitoring System it has for my Beetle.

I love my Blush, Bridget Bordeaux. I'm not the biggest fan of the white gold, but I ADORE the bordeaux red leather interior.

I haven't seen a blush up close, and in person. I need to stop by Osteen and see if they have one. I've heard nothing but good about the color. And the convertible top and the interior really compliments the blush too... Enjoy

And it's still great to see a fellow Jacksonvillian here!! Keep posting

They haven't put the 1.8t in the New Beetle since they added the 5 cylinder 2.5 liter engine. Since it gets 150hp, I guess they figured there was no point in offering two 150hp engines.

As for the Blush Edition, I finally saw one on the road yesterday. Very nice looking vehicle! That color is awesome!

This reminds me so much of the interior of the classic American diner, circa 1950s, with the brilliant red and silver/chrome/brushed aluminum look. I am totally loving the red leather seats.

if they put a stick into it, it might be one of those things i'd consider in 5-10 years when it has 100k miles and worth $7500.

i like the color combination, but the unispiring mandate of an automatic takes away most of the fun factor.

Default Is this a blush edition too?

I was randomly browsing through new VW's around the country, and in Las Vegas I found this one under the brand new category of 2009. Did they add the maroon part along the doors or are there some editions out there like this?

Looks like a Blush Edition with a dealer added attempt at a two-tone paint job and some aftermarket wheels.

I'm not really digging the paint - beltline is too high and it should have gone all the way to the fenders and the top of the running boards. Just my 2 cents....

I agree. The dealer should have taken it to a jobber that has a more beetle vibe to their work. I mean it's okayyy. it dosen't have a natural look to it, or a natural feel to it. Kinda like a certain "Rivers" plastic surgery. It's still her, but something just dosen't look quite right.

But that's my opinion. If y'all like it- i ain't mad at cha

Here's a pic of the 2005 (I think) Dark Flint/Domingo sedan. A limited edition from the factory, but still, the beltline should have been a bit higher. Maybe somewhere between where it was and the dealer added version.
