Apparently it's all but a done deal.

I'm confused. Doesn't Porsche own 51% of VW?

Tractors and other ag equipment and who knows what else. I'm sure they have their fingers in a lot of stuff.

I don't know all the details, but VW has been trying to buy Porsche...and Porsche has been trying to buy VW for a long time.

The deal looks pretty final. Interestingly the Chattanooga newspaper is already covering VW-related news.

Porsche owns: Porsche and a controlling interest in VW.

VW wholly owns: VW, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, SEAT, and Skoda.

And so now I guess VW will reach back and buyout Porsche. Hmmmm......there is something incestuous about that.
