Women Buyers Still want the NB!

"Volkswagen will be quite happy whether or not men or women buy its new 2011 Jetta when it arrives this fall. But the German automaker's new Beetle continues to top the wish lists of female new-car buyers.

That's according to a survey from the US-based "TrueCar" industry researcher, which looked at more than 13 million new-car registrations over the past two years.

With more than 56 per cent of its owners women, the Beetle easily surpasses the industry ratio of 36 per cent female new-car buyers, this despite women making up 51 per cent of the US population."

So, if someone says the NB is a chick's car, they may be correct, although 12 years of owning one, I'm fine with that!

Chick car or not, I wish VW would let us know one way or the other whether or not these 2011 or 2012 Facelifted Beetle rumors are true or not. The waiting sucks. I want to know NOW, not a year from now.

Yes same here. I want to know if they are still going to have a NB ... Although I don't want it to change in terms of looks

Well, I'm a guy and I love my Beetle even if it is a chick car. My car almost reminds me of carrying around a puppy everywhere. People always stop and say "Awwww." I definitely want VW to keep making Beetles. As long as they promise me a TDI!

It is just awful not the keep making the Beetle. The new commercials for Punch Dub are dumb without a Beetle.

Now days everyone has a myspace. This would be a good start as it is free. Posters and hand outs and such are good to through in the ladies locker room at gyms. But lets be honest here, you cant get good advertising for free.
