Thumbs up

FWIW - I heard a demo the other day (in a 2012 Passat) of the new Fender audio system that will be available in the Beetle.

All I can say is "HOLY CRAP!!!!!" That's gonna be worth the price of admnission by itself. I'm no audiophile, but it was awesome. Better than any car audio system that I've heard. 400 watts, 8 speakers and a hidden sub.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Crown Royal in one hand - Cigar in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Kick Ass Ride!"

I think we'll be pleasantly surprised after the big reveal. Change is hard to accept sometimes and for some, the nB2 is the case in point.

At least the nB2 will have a good dose of wham in it- nothing wrong with good tunes and a sound system to back it up

Do you guys think it will still smell like crayons/crayola ?

I really hope so. I loved my old bug.

Glad it's getting a good sound system. I heard the Dynaudio in a Golf GTI and it wasn't that impressive.
