Xenons for 06?

Does anyone know if VW will re-introduce xenons for the 06 model year? Im sure they would have if the headlights stayed the same size etc, but im not sure if they are just phasing out options because they want to phase out the NB, or if they are just waiting a bit for the xenons...because honestly ill wait to get my car if xenons are coming.

No clue, sorry man. I doubt the '06s will have Xenons at this stage in the production run, but maybe '07 will offer it.

well i said wait for xenons...but id rather set my hair on fire than wait until the 07s come out....maybe just put glass in my eye...but either way why would VW do this to me!

i could always swap out the lights if they ever do come out.

There always seems to be rumors of the New Beetle being killed off yet VW sells more of them than Golfs and GTIs.

I wouldn't hold your breath for Bi-Xenons in the NB/NBC again. They were an extremely poor seller in the '04/'05 cars. In fact, when my car came in the ballast for the passenger's side headlight was bad. Rather than order the part (which had to come from Germany) the dealer tried locating another NB/NBC at another dealer with these lights to swap that part out of. Needless to say, my car was the only one in the entire Eastern seaboard that had the Bi-Xenons. IMO, they're well worth the $600 option, but most people don't care.

I think once they become more popular/cheaper they will be more widely available. I sure wish I had them
