Hey there,
I'm a long time lurker on these forums, but today I need your advice. My wife got me a phone mount for use in my New Beetle, with suction cup and vent mount, and I foolishly tried out the vent mount. Regrettable it disconnect some of the horizontal flaps from the vertical rod that holds them in place. I was getting them all to click back in...but now the vertical rod has disconnected too. Is there an easy way to remove the horizontal flaps, I noticed that they are numbered, so that I can reconnect the vertical rod and get it all back together once again? Hope someone can help out. |

Actually the easiest is to remove the center dash; you can use the Blend Door DIY Thread for the dash removal instructions. Doing it any other way you stand a chance of breaking the horizontal and vertical adjustment clips.
