Tail fin stuck up?
Sorry if this is the wrong section, I've used this forum many times to help me figure out problems but I have yet to find a fix for this one.
Not long ago I blew out the subs I had installed myself, I had pulled out my radio to see if my high to low converter was still hooked up correctly. After I put the radio back in, I started driving and the tail fin went up at about 12 mph and I haven't been able to get it to go back down. I didn't even know I had a tail fin honestly. At this point I wasn't getting the beep when I locked the doors.
Today I pulled the radio back out and checked all the wiring, a couple of the connectors were barely hanging on so I plugged them back in, hit the secret button for the fin and it just made a grinding noise and wont go down. I lubed it up a little bit and hit the button, still no luck. As I gave up and came inside to post this, I hit the lock button on the remote and the beep is now back, which I assume would be something to do with the wiring in the radio.
Before I forget, this is a 2000 NB 1.8 Turbo, thanks guys.
