Possible to remove plastic fan blades?

Cooling fans don't work on 99 NB, so removed them. Have replacements that work, but one has section broken off outer ring and blade. My non-working fan could work, if the fan motor could be separated from the plastic rotor/blades. It doesn't look like they are made to disassemble.....but thought perhaps someone has tried. Thoughts, suggestions? At worst I'm going to cut and glue/pop rivet from my old to new to replace missing section, but rotor for rotor would be much better.

It sure looks like that fan is pressed on, to the motor output shaft. I've never seen anything like it in my 25 years of collision repair in the auto industry. I just recently found a whole new fan set, I think I paid about 100 bucks for it on Amazon.com.

That's what it looked like to me. My set was free from my brother, so I can experiment a bit.
