Default Server Issues anyone?

Hello All,

The server seemed to have gone down around 2AM, June the 13th. Anyone else notice downtime?

Saad

I did not. And I haven't heard it mentioned in chat.

No complaints yet.

Did not notice any then (6/13)but I did notice that on 6/16 starting around 1:30am the site seemed to be loading very slow. Slow as in the ORG took about 2 mins to come up and all other pages took from 30sec to a min to come up. All other sites I tried at the same time had no problems. Server maintenance going on or just a hicup?

I didn't make any changes on our end. I'm going to look into this. Please let me know if you see this problem again.

I have been noticing a trend lately that starting around midnight (CST) the site starts to really slow down. Just now to post this it took 30secs after I clicked post reply. Also sometimes to refresh the main forum page takes almost a min to refresh. All my other internet traffic appears to be fine at the time.

+1, every night this week there's at least some slowdown around that time. It's my "free" time after a hectic day so I'm here almost every night around this time...

ok it was slow again last night. It really upsets me because during the summer i am a night owl and would stay up on the org til 4 am if it would allow. It was about 1230 last night when it starts to take forever to load!

I'm not sure if this is a problem on my end or not, but everytime I log onto my computer and try to log onto here, I always get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." the first time. Then I try it again and it loads up right away.

Hey Saad, when I put "newbeetle.org" into a web address bar, it doesn't load. Then I add "www." and it works. Check the server NS records to see if both www.newbeetle.org and newbeetle.org are resolved to the same address. Should be easy to do, and will make it easier for people to just cruise here.
