Default New Chat Client installed

Hello All;

This goes out to those of our users who have tried to join the newbeetle chat room from the Chat link above, and have gone away frustrated with messages of "Unregistered version: please contact webmaster to register"

Can now rejoice with me that the craptastic previous chat application has been removed!

Cheers!

Whats the problem?

Please be more descriptive in future "its not working" posts.

If you were having an issue with your engine would you just post its not working and expect me to know the solution?

Not working on Safari on Mac OS X.

I choose my nickname and click Enter and it shows the chatroom for a split second and puts me back to the nickname choosing page. And so on and so on...

SMG, The mibbit folks say it should. Maybe it's just this embedded thing. Pls try to access the mibbit help chat; and let me know your results w/that.

http://www.mibbit.com/ ... link's in the top right corner. IM me if you'd like to work on it together.

Well, I always used the default chat client before, now I just get a big blank square when I try to enter chat, but seriously, don't help me--thanks for removing that time-wasting temptation from my life! Seriously. Now, if you try to take my favorite cookies you'll have a fight on your hands!

This could also be due to someone else using the nickname of SMG, have you tried it with a different nickname?
